lashes have erupted between Iraqi special forces and an Al-Qaeda-linked group as government troops continue their siege of two cities in Anbar province overrun by members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

On Sunday, at least 20 people died in bombings as ISIS gained control of Ramadi and Fallujah in the Sunni-dominated province.

Violence has also erupted in the northern city of Kirkuk, where a suicide bomber drove a truck into a police station, killing two and wounding 55.

RT's Ameera David talks to Austin Petersen, editor at theLibertarianRepublic.com, about the heightened violence in Iraq.
