Former US President Donald Trump and Vivek Ramaswamy have sparked a whirlwind of vice presidency rumours after the pair arrived at a Mar-A-Lago gala together on Super Bowl weekend.

The 'Golden Evening for a Golden President' event was organised by the 'Trumpettes', a fan club dedicated to supporting Donald Trump.

Online footage showed the 45th US President entering the Mar-a-Lago Club, accompanied by his wife Melania and Vivek, along with his wife Apoorva.

Social media buzzed with comments suggesting Ramaswamy as a potential vice president.

“I wonder if vivek will be vice president? I have never been so impatient in my life to know who the vp pick is.

Waiting sucks," an X user wrote.
