Newly released surveillance video of last Thursday's gas pipeline explosion in San Bruno, California reveals the frightening moments those nearby experienced when a natural gas pipeline blew up into a fireball in a residential neighbourhood.
One video, released by the Econo Gasoline station a few blocks from the explosion captured the moment the huge fireball first burst into the air.
Thursday's blast and fire destroyed nearly 50 homes and damaged dozens more.
Four people were killed, four remain missing and at least 60 were injured.
