Elon Musk SNUBS Biden’s Threats And Criticism
Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, formerly backed President Joe Biden, but their friendship has soured over the past year.

Since Biden gained office in 2021, the two men have been exchanging jabs on a regular basis.

Most recently, US President Joe Biden criticized Twitter's acquisition by billionaire Elon Musk, claiming that the social media site "spews lies across the world." Biden's comments followed Musk's announcement that Twitter would begin making cuts on Friday.

And so, let’s find out how intense this feud between Elon Musk and President joe Biden!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to Elon Musk Evolution, where we bring you the most recent news about Elon Musk and his multibillion-dollar companies, space news and the latest science and technology.

Since acquiring Twitter for USD44 billion, Musk has moved quickly, first sacking the company's CEO, Parag Agrawal, and then dissolving the board of directors to temporarily replace them with himself as the only director of the company.

The layoff announcements are not unexpected because Musk stated following the acquisition that he intended to fire up to half of the company's 7,500 employees.

Musk claimed that Twitter has experienced a significant decline in revenue and blamed "activist groups" for pressuring advertisers.

Even though there has been no change in content moderation, and we done everything we could to placate the activists, Musk claimed that Twitter's revenue had dropped dramatically as a result of activist groups lobbying advertisers.

They're attempting to obliterate free speech in America, he continued, calling it "extremely messed up!"

The tweet was sent out a few days after major Twitter advertisers received a letter asking, they stop all advertising if Musk violates brand safety and community standards.

The letter was sent to prominent Twitter advertisers by a collection of more than 40 civil rights and activist organizations.

Due to Musk's prior criticism of Twitter's moderation practices and claims that the platform is biased against right-wing viewpoints, his takeover of Twitter has sparked a tempest of discussion over free speech vs online harm.

Before Musk completed his $44 billion acquisition, Bloomberg revealed that Biden administration officials had been in preliminary negotiations about the possibility of subjecting some of Musk's ventures, including the acquisition of Twitter, to national security reviews.

Reportedly, the government disagreed with the report's, with citation of people knowledgeable of the situation.

Several foreign organizations, including the Qatar sovereign wealth fund and Saudi Arabia's Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, who was already one of Twitter's biggest investors before Musk's proposed takeover, are among the equity investors who have committed to provide financing to help Musk fund the deal.

And the White House denied on Thursday to provide an explanation for President Biden's surprising request for a federal probe of Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter on the grounds of national security, which came after Musk committed to halt partisan restrictions on the platform.

Requests for clarification of Biden's statement during the White House press conference on Wednesday were rebuffed by press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and national security adviser Jake Sullivan.
