Donald Trump has won the Republican primary election in South Carolina and is one step closer to securing the GOP presidential nomination.
Polls showed the former president with a 30-point lead over former South Carolina Gov.
Nikki Haley heading into the night.
In his victory speech, Trump said, "this was an even bigger win than we anticipated."
