"As the government shutdown continues in its second week, Americans' biggest concern is now dysfunction in Washington - which has reached the highest rate in 74 years, a new poll shows.
More than doubling from the month before, 33 percent of Americans said dysfunctional government was the biggest problem facing the country in Gallup's poll out Wednesday, topping the 19 percent who said the economy and the 12 percent each who chose unemployment, the deficit and health care.
Last month, only 16 percent chose dysfunction as the top problem, and in Gallup's polling since 1939, Washington has never been more concerning to Americans.
