The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security need to gain a sense of humor, according to a new court ruling.
In 2011, both the NSA and DHS insisted that people could not sell shirts, mugs and other paraphernalia parodying the government agencies through the website Zazzle.
They threatened to sue the website for the use of their seals, but in 2013 the watchdog group Public Citizen sued the agencies first.
Public Citizen claimed the government cannot outlaw parodies.
The groups reached a settlement yesterday, in which the NSA and DHS admitted they were wrong.
