Clashes erupted in Istanbul on Wednesday as protesters battled with police on the day of the funeral of 15-year-old teenager Berkin Elvan.
Police used teargas and water cannons in a series of running battles, with protesters throwing rocks and firecrackers.
Elvan had been in a coma since June 2013 after being struck in the head by a gas canister during clashes with police, when he was on his way to buy bread.
Some protesters carried loaves of bread with black ribbons.
Elvan was the eighth person to be killed in the Gezi Park protests.
