Thousands have taken to the streets of Barcelona, to march against austerity measures and call for greater social rights on Sunday.
Called by Spain's main labour union, the CCOO, protesters are marching under the slogan "We will defend our rights".
The rally is part of the "Campaign for a Social Catalunya".
Several smaller unions also back the march, with General Secretary of UGT (General Union of Workers), Joseph Maria Alvarez Suarez, present.
