With the National Security Agency and other government organizations increasingly surveilling citizens, people have realized that the internet has lost its "innocence," according to German author Holger Stark.
The writer for German newspaper Der Spiegel believes that everything we do on the internet is insecure and we must be more knowledgeable and vigilant with our online activities.
The author spoke with RT's Lindsay France about the NSA and the quest for control of the internet.
