Veterans Today editor Mike Harris says the United States is a controlled puppet of Israel after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the White House.
Netanyahu told US officials "not to ever second guess me again" by forcing on Tel Aviv a ceasefire with Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.
In conversations with Secretary of State John Kerry and other senior US officials, Netanyahu advised the Obama administration to trust him on the matter, mocking international efforts to forge a truce.
“What Mr.
Netanyahu is doing is showing the world both his arrogance; number one that he is a very arrogant, arrogant man and number two I think he’s demonstrating to the world the length and breadth of Israeli influence over US foreign policy,” Harris said.
“A man who has no control or has no influence would never say anything like that,” he added.
“That really is a very good marker of how much power and influence that he has caught through his corruption, of corrupting our officials and this brings into focus our growing political movement in the US to where the citizens of the US feel so desperate now to regain control of our government,” the analyst continued.
“This foreign influence in our government, in our affairs has got to stop,” Harris said.
In the latest Israeli attack, a dozen people were killed and 30 others injured.
A UN school sheltering displaced Palestinians in the southern town of Rafah was targeted.
More than 1,800 people have been killed and over 9,300 others have been injured as Israel has been engaged in a relentless onslaught on the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu vowed to further escalate its offensive against Gaza, saying that the Israeli army will continue its operations in Gaza even after it completes destroying Palestinian fighters’ tunnels.
“We will take as much time as necessary, and will exert as much force as needed," Netanyahu said at a press conference on Saturday.
