These are the representatives of almost all major political and religious parties from different ideological shades of Pakistani society.
They gathered in Islamabad to discuss what they can do to bring an end to ongoing aggression by Israel in Gaza.
Significantly present in this conference are the senior ministers of the government and diplomats from Muslim countries and the EU.
A joint declaration signed by the government and all political and religious parties in this conference urged the Organization of Islamic Countries or the OIC to build up international pressure to prosecute Israel for ongoing war crimes in Gaza.
The joint declaration was handed over to the OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani who is in Islamabad to evolve a joint strategy with Pakistan ahead of OIC session expected next week.
Palestinian diaspora in Pakistan say that no where in the world they get public support as much as they get in this 200 million populated Muslim nation.
But much of this public support end up holding such mega conferences and protests on streets and does not significantly translate into action at the government level.
