Congress members are on the campaign trail preparing for the midterm elections but analyst say while Americans are fed up with congress there is an expected low voter turnout.
Congress has the lowest approval rating in history, according to Gallup poll it is at 13 percent.
Americans will have a chance to vote members out of office but it seems many Americans are going to stay home instead of vote for the midterm elections.
Analyst say voter apathy gas been a growing trend in America and is to be expected this election cycle.
But reports show voter turnout across all ages has been declining so much so the United States now has on averages the lowest voter turnout.
According to the Center for the Study of the American Electorate, 14 percent of eligible U.S.
voters have cast ballots in the first 25 statewide primaries this year,.
The study shows about 18 million out of about 122 million voters eligible to cast ballots actually made a choice for U.S.
senator or governor in primaries so far this year.
Meantime, the number of Americans who approve of their own representative in Congress has reached an all-time low.
In a recent poll, 51 percent of Americans said that they disapprove of the way their own representative in Congress is “handling his or her job.
