Syria has once again accused Israel of supporting the ISIL Takfiri terrorists.
A Syrian military official confirmed that Israel has shot down a Syrian fighter jet based on Tel Aviv's policy of supporting the ISIL terrorists.
Earlier, Israel said that it shot down a Syrian fighter jet as it attempted to fly over the ceasefire line into the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
According to the Israeli army radio, the Syrian aircraft, which was apparently a Sukhoi jet, was downed by a surface-to-air Patriot missile.
It said the plane's wreckage landed on the Syrian-controlled side of the Golan Heights.
