Over 70 percent of active-duty US soldiers oppose the idea of deploying ground forces to Iraq, according to a new Military Times poll.
Despite many politicians and top media figures calling for boots on the ground to combat the Islamic State group, the newly released figure matches the opinion of the general public, which has also expressed disapproval with calls to intervene in Iraq and Syria with ground forces.
