Hundreds of American anthropologists have joined an academic boycott of Israel to condemn the violation of Palestinian rights.
Over 500 signatories have publicly joined the boycott, while another 77 enrolled anonymously.
They include anthropologists from top US universities.
The campaign was announced by the American Studies Association in February.
The signatories are boycotting Israeli academic institutions that are complicit in the violation of the rights of Palestinian people.
They say they won't collaborate on projects and events involving Israeli academic institutions.
The signatories want Israel to end the siege of Gaza and its occupation of Palestinian territories.
They're also demanding that Israel recognize the fundamental rights of the Palestinian Bedouins to full equality.
