Buzzfeed just broke a story about how the DEA arrested a woman, took photos off her confiscated cell phone, and used them to create a phony Facebook page where they impersonated her in order to lure in others connected to her drug crimes.
It's one thing for the police to seize your phone; it's another for them to take photos from it, post them online, create a phony profile for you, interact with people online as if they were you, and completely impersonate you.
