The bigger an engagement ring, the less likely a marriage will last, according to a new study from Emory University.
Researchers determined that couples who spend $20,000 or more on a wedding are 3.5 times more likely to divorce than those who spend $5-10K, while pricey engagement rings are also associated with high separation rates.
