A UK parliamentary report shows British children are the ones who have disproportionately borne the brunt of government austerity measures.
The Joint Committee on Human Rights has found that migrant kids and those from low-income families have been hardest hit by cuts in benefits and the provision of services.
It said the government should have done more to reduce the impact of its economic decisions.
The parliamentarians warned that more children will be poor, hungry and cold next year if no action is taken.
The report suggested that child poverty be regarded as a breach of human rights, and asked London to commit to ending it by 20-20.
The MPs also called on the government to reconsider changes to the legal aid system and undo some of the harm they've caused to children.
