If you’ve ever signed up for a cell phone or taken a loan from a bank, then you’ve probably, unknowingly, signed an arbitration clause that prevents you from suing the company if they don’t uphold their part of the bargain.
These arbitration clauses have become the standard for corporations, and they effectively strip away the rights from consumers to hold companies accountable.
