The Jade Helm Conspiracy has gotten tens of millions of Republicans paranoid that Obama plans to invade the Southwest.

Now this sounds like bad news possible for Obama, possibly for the country but it is good news for Rick Perry.

John Iadarola (Think Tank) and Ben Mankiewicz (What The Flick) discuss the details of the story.

“Rick Perry told Glenn Beck that, if he were president, no one would worry that he planned to invade Texas and ship off conservatives to Walmart detention centers – as many Republicans fear President Barack Obama will do this summer.

The former Texas governor and possible GOP presidential candidate addressed Jade Helm 15 conspiracy theories Wednesday on the conservative talk show program, reported Right Wing Watch.

Perry agreed with Beck, who said the fact that “normal Americans” fear the president will allow Islamic State militants to invade southwestern states during the military exercise proves that “crazy things are happening right now.”

“Let’s say that I were to become the president of the United States,” Perry said.

“I think there will be a clearly changed attitude toward that office, what comes out of that office, the messaging that comes out of that office that clearly puts America back on a course where people [don’t believe the president will implement martial law and allow Russians to build ‘death domes’].”
