Last week, Israeli settlers firebombed a Palestinian home in the occupied West Bank, killing a one-and-a-half year-old baby.
And now the toddler’s father has died of severe burns.
32-year-old Sa’ad Dawabsheh died in hospital, where he'd been receiving treatment for second-degree burns to more than eighty percent of his body.
His wife, Riham and 4-year-old son remain in critical condition.
Last Friday, a firebomb was thrown into the family’s bedroom by Israeli settlers, setting the house alight.
The attack sparked angry protests by Palestinians in the occupied territories.
Reacting to the brutal attack, Palestinian officials have filed a lawsuit against Israel with the International Criminal Court.
