The Palestinian teenage boy who freed himself when an Israeli soldier was attempting to arrest him says he was hit by stones when being held down.
The video shows the Israeli soldier holding the 12-year-old Mohammad Tamimi in a chokehold in the West Bank village of Nabi Saleh.
It has been viewed more than two million times on Facebook.
The masked soldier was eventually forced to release the boy after scuffles with his relatives, including his mother and sister.
An Italian peace activist was also violently arrested by Israeli forces after he filmed the protest.
Vittorio Fera was thrown to the ground and pushed by three Israeli soldiers who then arrested him.
