Muslims in the US have been increasingly facing public anger and politicians' scapegoating after the attacks in Paris and San Bernardino.
Even before the deadly attacks, though, a double standard was present in the media and law enforcement, calling Muslims ‘terrorists’ while avoiding the term when dealing with white or right-wing perpetrators.
